Fire Sprinkler Technician (SFSTRNV)

A growing fire protection company is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join a team in the Reno NV region. This is a full-time opportunity for someone with strong hands-on sprinkler service experience who is looking for steady work competitive compensation benefits and long-term career growth in the fire protection industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience servicing inspecting troubleshooting and maintaining fire sprinkler systems including wet dry and antifreeze systems.

Responsibilities:

• Service troubleshoot and repair wet dry and antifreeze fire sprinkler systems
  
• Inspect sprinkler heads pipes valves and alarms
  
• Test water flow pressure and alarms to help ensure system readiness
  
• Perform preventive maintenance and code compliance checks
  
• Follow applicable fire codes building codes OSHA standards and company safety procedures
  
• Travel within the region as needed; occasional overnight stays may be required
  

• 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler fire protection or life safety trades required
  
• Nevada fire sprinkler licenses preferred
  
• Backflow knowledge preferred
  
• MSHA certification preferred
  
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
