Fire Sprinkler Inspector (SFSIPID)

A well-established fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler & Backflow Inspector to support commercial industrial and institutional customers throughout the region.

This field-based position combines fire sprinkler inspections backflow testing customer interaction and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate is dependable safety-focused detail-oriented and comfortable working independently while delivering professional service to customers.

Responsibilities

• Inspect test and certify backflow prevention assemblies
  
• Perform inspections and testing of fire sprinkler systems
  
• Verify proper operation of valves sprinkler heads and related system components
  
• Identify and document system deficiencies
  
• Maintain compliance with applicable codes standards and safety requirements
  
• Clearly communicate inspection findings and recommendations to customers and internal team members
  
• Complete required inspection reports and field documentation accurately and on time
  

• Active Idaho Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) certification
  
• 2 years of fire sprinkler and/or backflow inspection experience
  
• NICET II or higher in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems preferred
  
• NFPA Certified Fire Inspector I (CFI-I) is a plus
  
• Strong communication documentation and customer-service skills
  
• Ability to travel throughout the assigned service area including occasional overnight travel
