Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designerto join our in-house team in Boise. This role is responsible for preparing detailed design and layout drawings for fire sprinkler systems in commercial industrial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish in collaboration with our project managers and field teams.


Responsibilities
Design fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards building codes and local requirements
Prepare hydraulic calculations material lists and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD or Revit
Review project specifications submittals and design criteria with project managers and clients
Coordinate with contractors architects and engineers to ensure design accuracy and constructability
Support field installation teams by providing clarifications and design revisions as needed
Maintain organized project files and documentation for submittals and approvals
Participate in design review meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives


Requirements

What Were Looking For
Minimum 2 years of experience in fire sprinkler design (NICET certification preferred)
Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit or HydraCAD experience a plus
Strong understanding of NFPA 13 14 20 and 72 standards
Excellent attention to detail accuracy and organization
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or engineering degree preferred
