Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Location

Savannah GA This is an on-site opportunity for a hands-on project leader who enjoys being close to the work the team and the customer.

Note:

Must have 3 years of construction project management experience and 1 year of direct fire protection or fire suppression systems experience. NICET Level III certification is strongly preferred.

Job Description

• Lead multiple fire protection installation projects from initial planning through final completion keeping scope schedule budget and quality on track.
• Coordinate project plans specifications contracts fire suppression systems alarms and related safety infrastructure.
• Direct on-site teams and provide clear leadership to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
• Partner with clients subcontractors vendors regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain strong project communication.
• Review construction drawings blueprints specifications contracts and project documentation to identify risks and opportunities.
• Monitor project costs schedules progress and performance while preparing clear project status updates.
• Conduct or support site inspections and audits to ensure work meets applicable building codes fire safety regulations and industry standards.
• Apply knowledge of NFPA 13 NFPA 72 NFPA 2001 and commercial fire protection requirements throughout project execution.
• Manage competing priorities across concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of organization accountability and attention to detail.
• Communicate project status risks challenges and opportunities effectively to leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3 years of construction project management experience.
• 1 year of fire protection fire suppression or closely related systems experience.
• Experience managing commercial industrial infrastructure or other complex construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating blueprint reading project plans contracts scheduling and cost management.
• Working knowledge of NFPA 13 NFPA 72 NFPA 2001 fire safety regulations and applicable construction standards.
• Proven ability to lead field teams and coordinate subcontractors vendors clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational communication problem-solving and time management skills.
• Construction site experience with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• NICET Level III certification preferred.
• Valid drivers license required.
