Job Summary
A growing fire protection company is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Technician to join its team.
This is a full-time position supporting the installation service inspection testing and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems for commercial and industrial customers throughout the region.
- 2 years of fire alarm or low-voltage experience
- NICET Level I or higher
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Clean agent fire suppression experience preferred
- Install service inspect and troubleshoot fire alarm systems
- Read and interpret blueprints plans and wiring schematics
- Perform testing and inspections in accordance with NFPA standards and local code requirements
- Complete service reports inspection documentation
- Communicate professionally with customers contractors and team members
- Travel throughout the service area with occasional overnight stays as required
