Fire Alarm Project Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple Fire Alarm Projects includingmodifications retrofits andnew installations.

• Serve as the primary point of contact forGeneral contractorssubcontractorsinstall techniciansand internal departments.

• Develop project scopes estimates and budgets; monitor progress and performance.

• Assist in scheduling of technician crews in conjunction with superintendent

• Ensuring work complies with applicable codes regulations and safety standards.

• Coordinate material procurement subcontractor scheduling and field service dispatching.

• Maintain accurate records includingProject Status Reports inspection forms andany other requireddocumentation.

• Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and providing solutions for system deficiencies.

• Oversee financials and help resolve any invoicing or billing discrepancies.

• Promote and maintain a safe working environment.

• Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicate effectively to educate the customer.

• Assist withprogressbilling percontractguidelines.

• Support sales efforts by identifying service opportunities and providing recommendations.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Qualification:

• 3 years minimum experience in the fire protection industry with a focus onFire Alarmsystems.

• FAL (preferred)

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

• Project Management certifications (PMP PgMP CAPM) are highly desirable

• Proven project management experience ideally in a service-based environment.
  NICET Level II or higher in Fire Alarm Systems (preferred).

• Proficient in project management and scheduling software (e.g. Microsoft Project ServiceTrade etc.)

• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.

• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Office and field environment; occasional job site visits required.

• May need to work outside standard business hours to meet project deadlines or respond to emergencies.
