Finish Carpenter Independent Contractor Opportunity Gallatin Valley $40-$60 per hour plus potential bonuses

- $40-$60 hourly rate depending on experience

- Crown molding wainscoting coffered ceilings and custom trim
- Cabinetry built ins shelving mantels and furniture installation
- Door and window trim baseboards and stair railings
- Fine wood finishing joinery staining and veneer work
- Residential and light commercial finish projects
- Demonstrated experience completing finish carpentry projects including list the specific project types.
- Ability to safely operate the tools required for the assigned work including miter saws routers chisels planers finish nailers and precision measuring tools.
- Knowledge of installing hardwoods softwoods MDF and other specified wood products.
- Ability to complete work in accordance with applicable building codes manufacturer instructions and accepted installation practices.
- Reliable attendance professional communication clean work habits and respectful treatment of customers homes.
- Personal tools required for the work and a reliable truck or van suitable for transporting them.
- Valid drivers license and smartphone for scheduling and work-related communication.
- Required commercial insurance coverage with proof of coverage.
- Montana Independent Contractor Exemption Certificate or willingness to obtain one before beginning work.
- Successful completion of a background check and verification of the credentials required for the role.
