Description:
- Financial Analysts provide financial management support for a branch office organization or department. They may also perform the following duties.
- Providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
- Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
- Analysts examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness accuracy and conformance with established procedures regulations and organizational objectives.
- May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests assess program tradeoffs and explore alternative funding methods.
- Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organizations spending.
- Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
- May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
- Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
- Manage finances across multiple funding types.
- Track budgets costs and variances.
- Produce executive summaries.
- Conduct financial reporting and analysis on financial issues and customer requirements.
- Develop and propose courses of action (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues. Interpret and apply financial management principles.
- Apply financial management processes techniques policies regulations and organizational strategic goals.
Requirements
Experience:
- 10 years of professional experience with financial management.
Education:
- Bachelors degree.
Security clearance:
- Secret.
