Description:

  • Financial Analysts provide financial management support for a branch office organization or department. They may also perform the following duties.
  • Providing advice and technical assistance in the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Measure organizational performance; assess the effects of various programs and policies on the budget.
  • Analysts examine budget estimates or proposals for completeness accuracy and conformance with established procedures regulations and organizational objectives.
  • May employ cost-benefit analysis to review financial requests assess program tradeoffs and explore alternative funding methods.
  • Examine past and current budgets and research economic and financial developments that affect the organizations spending.
  • Develop guidelines and policies governing the formulation and maintenance of budgets.
  • May conduct training sessions for company or government agency personnel regarding new budget procedures.
  • Coordinate financial activities across various stakeholders.
  • Manage finances across multiple funding types.
  • Track budgets costs and variances.
  • Produce executive summaries.
  • Conduct financial reporting and analysis on financial issues and customer requirements.
  • Develop and propose courses of action (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues. Interpret and apply financial management principles.
  • Apply financial management processes techniques policies regulations and organizational strategic goals.


Requirements

Experience:

  • 10 years of professional experience with financial management.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree.

Security clearance:

  • Secret.

  • San Diego CA.
