As a Risk ConsultingRegulatory ComplianceAssociateat RSM you will workon projects related to the worlds largest financial services institutionsand receive hands-onexperience with direct access to business owners and executive management. Working on numerous team engagements per year you will be involved in a variety of challenging assignments with guidance from experienced consultants - and you will feel a great sense of accomplishment when you are done.

RSMsRegulatory ComplianceConsultinggroup provides value addedconsultingservices to clientele and you will be exposed to a wide variety of clients withinthefinancial services industry. Examples of projects includerisk and control projects across all three lines global risk and control projects transformationsinternal audits inanti-money laundering (AML)and consumer complianceand regulatory validationsprojects allintended to provide our clients with timely information toidentify andmitigate potential risks.

Examples of the candidates responsibilities include:

  • Work individuallyand/or as part of a team to executevarious projects related to Compliance Risk and Controls Financial CrimeConsumer Compliance testing activities forfinancial institutions of all sizes and complexities.

  • Identify areas of non-compliance withvarious financiallaws and regulations and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively across multiple external and internal initiatives to achieve stated goals and timelines.

  • Provide quality and accurate work products.

  • Develop technical skillsets across variousregulatory compliance and financial crime related topics

  • Identify areas to improve and bring efficiency to testing techniques.

  • Contribute to strong client relationships through positive client support and sound expertise.

  • Use straightforward communication when providing testing results to internal and external parties.

  • Seek and embrace opportunities to provide and receive actionable feedback.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Computer Science Statistics or related business or technical field of study from accredited university

  • Must be able to travel locally and nationally 40% of the time - including overnight travel

  • Minimum 3.0 GPApreferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong computer skills including MS Office

  • Strong multi-tasking and project management skills

  • Ability to work as an effective member of a team

  • Must possess a high degree of integrity and professionalism

At RSM an employees pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences performance and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including but not limited to education skills work experience certifications location etc. As such pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
