Job Summary
This position is located at Aberdeen Proving Ground South (Edgewood MD).
- Provides technical financial budget and/or accounting support by accumulating processing compilation and consolidation of financial data insupport of GVMP HQ operations.
- Assists with review and analysis of operating programs ensuring conformance with policy and resource utilization; participates in surprise cashcount visit; participates in internal control inspections on a random basis.
- Identifies problems with document flow. Assists in the analysis/evaluation of findings determining corrective or improvement actions needed.
- Assists higher graded employees with analysis of incoming reports. Provides assistance with formal document updates recommending changes toprocedures identifying requirements for additional training and/or changes in resource utilization.
- Assists with defining and correcting problems or identifying needs of user representatives who work with various NAF Information ManagementSystems and assists with financial reporting requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3 para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
1. Must have semi-independent work experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level.
2. Ability to organize and communicate through written correspondence and oral communication.
3. Working knowledge of principles practices and methods of budget formulation.
4. Ability to type and operate a personal computer.
5. Knowledge of operation and functions of personal computers to provide problem solving resolution and service to users
In addition to the above qualifications candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered Highly Preferred or Best Qualified:
- Highly desirable: Knowledge of Nonappropriated Fund practices regulations and guidance materials and NAF Small Purchases.

Salary Information:
Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week. Hourly salary is:
NF-03 ($60000pa to $70000pa)PCS Costs
- Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Governments interest.
- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
- Non-foreign overseas allowances cost of living (COLA) and differentials will not be paid contingent upon eligibility.
