This position will be a hybrid role out of our Austin TX location.

How you will contribute

The Financial Data Analyst will partner closely with the FP&A team and business leaders to support financial planning forecasting and performance management while serving as a key link between financial analysis business insights and enterprise data systems. This role requires technical expertise in database design and monitoring proficiency with database tools and dashboards and business analysis capabilities to ensure accurate scalable and actionable financial insights.

You will help design maintain and enhance financial reporting systems and data models to ensure data integrity and usability across the organization in support of the Companys forecasting processes performance assessment and operational decision-making. Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand operational drivers evolving business needs and data requirements.
• Ensure financial reporting systems and underlying source data are accurate reconciled and well-documented.
• Prepare and deliver management reporting on revenue expenses and key performance indicators including clear variance analysis and business commentary.
• Support and maintain key metrics used for Board reporting investor materials earnings calls audits and other executive presentations.
• Provide ad hoc financial operational and data analysis to support strategic initiatives and special projects.
  
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial planning reporting and business intelligence processes.
• Collaborate with Finance IT and business stakeholders to improve data structures reporting processes and automation.
• Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast identify root causes of variances and review findings with management.
• Support the annual budget process and monthly forecast updates incorporating business and operational changes into financial models.
• Develop maintain and enhance financial and operational dashboards reports and data models using SQL Tableau and Excel.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Business Analytics Computer Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong database and business intelligence experience including advanced SQL and Tableau (or similar BI tools).
• Experience working with ERP and CRM systems (NetSuite Salesforce or similar) is a plus.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive curious and analytical with the ability to question assumptions validate data outputs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  
• Team-oriented adaptable and comfortable working across finance business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication organizational and interpersonal skills with a collaborative business-partnering mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear actionable business insights.
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling data analysis and data validation; strong PowerPoint skills for executive-level presentations.
• 3 years of experience in financial analysis business analysis or a hybrid finance/data role.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $85000-$95000 based on relevant experience skills and industry knowledge. Asure Software offers a variety of employee benefits. Salary information is determined by market location and is provided in accordance with state and local pay-transparency laws.
