Rate of Pay: $11.00 per hour

Summary:The purpose of this position is to support the financial aid team with all aspects of providing guidance to students.

Essential Job Duties:

Assists students and parents by answering their financial aid questions by phone and walk-ins.
Performs routine tasks such as scanning and projects of a clerical and/or administrative nature.
Provides backup for the financial aid office by taking students payments printing statements answering phone calls etc.

Abilities:

Ability to handle highly confidential matters and materials with discretion.
Must have working knowledge of computer software programs such as Word and Excel.
Ability to learn new software (Jenzabar EX Student Information System).
Ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment.
High attention to detail.
Maintain college GPA that meets or exceeds the IVCCD Standards of Academic Progress.

Education and Experience:HS Diploma or equivalent
