Job Summary
Primary Purpose Of Position
This position will be the primary staff assistant to a department or program manager. The position will be at the front line of greeting referring and assisting visitors students parents staff and others for the Office of Financial Aid & University Scholarships. This position will manage data collection and analysis conduct research and reconcile financial or informational records to ensure accuracy. Preparation of technical reports and the composition of professional correspondence including memos emails and letters. Administrative responsibilities include comprehensive records management use of advanced office technology and maintenance of departmental filing systems including compiling records organizing and maintaining files and posting information. Prompt email correspondence and daily mail distribution. Photocopying and scanning of documents. This position will moderate and facilitate the Financial Aid Walk-in Zoom hours and compile the associated reporting information. Scheduling and assisting the department or program manager with work-study students calendars possible review or approval of payroll and assisting and participating in outreach events including but not limited to communication to students and parents on requirements and deadlines and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school and one year of related office experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
