Financial Aid Advisor Remote

Time Commitment: 1525 hours per week short-term project

We are seeking experienced Financial Aid Advisors to evaluate and improve AI-generated guidance on federal student loans. Youll use your borrower counseling expertise to ensure questions reflect real borrower concerns and answers are accurate complete and helpful. No prior AI experience is required.

• Review student loan questions for realism and relevance.
• Develop rubrics covering federal loan repayment income-driven repayment (IDR) plans and forgiveness programs such as Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
• Evaluate guidance on loan servicer issues deferment forbearance and default resolution.
• Assess AI-generated answers for errors omissions and outdated information.
• Provide clear actionable written feedback to the project team asynchronously.

• Direct experience counseling borrowers on federal student loan repayment and forgiveness through a nonprofit university financial aid office or similar organization.
• At least 1 year of experience advising on IDR plans PSLF or other repayment and relief options.
• Experience beyond financial aid award packaging including repayment forgiveness servicer issues or default resolution.
• Working knowledge of loan servicing deferment forbearance and default management.
• Based in the United States.
• Ability to start quickly and commit 1525 hours per week.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
