Our Finance team is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Tariff Financial Specialist to play a critical role in managing the significant and evolving financial impact of tariffs.
This strategic position is essential for establishing and refining robust processes to track review and approve tariff-related claims and credits ensuring accuracy and compliance in a highly dynamic environment. Youll be at the forefront of a new and growing area of financial complexity directly impacting our profitability and financial reporting integrity.
The tariff market is exceptionally volatile and constantly evolving requiring continuous process establishment and refinement. This role will manage a substantial financial portfolio including currently tracking authorized supplier claims equating to over $1 billion in value. Furthermore you will be instrumental in establishing processes to track Tariff Credits.
Responsibilities
What youll do...
- Thought leadership capabilities. Youre not afraid to lead a team and challenge the status quo bring innovative ideas to complex tariff and trade challenges and guide strategic discussions with senior stakeholders on financial implications.
- Lead the review approval and tracking of complex tariff-related supplier claims and credits including in-depth analysis reconciliation and ensuring policy/regulatory adherence.
- Establish and refine robust processes for managing tariff accruals payments and credit recovery collaborating cross-functionally (operations legal accounting).
- Guarantee the integrity of tariff-related financial reporting including preparing accruals managing reconciliations and explaining financial impacts.
- Provide critical financial forecasting of future tariff impacts and accruals offering strategic leadership on potential changes to optimize outcomes.
- Partner with operating teams participate in daily governance and align on compliance efforts with suppliers to mitigate tariff impacts.
- Perform timely financial analysis and lead projects on tariff impacts trends mitigation strategies (e.g. policy changes duty drawback supplier compliance) and opportunities
Qualifications
Youll have...
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business Administration or a related business-centered degree.
- 3years of progressive experience in financial analysis accounting trade compliance or a related commercial role preferably within a large multinational organization.

- Experience leading a team
- Experience with PowerBI Power Applications AI Tools.
- Experience in international trade customs or supply chain finance.
- Masters Degree in Finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $60.
Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidates skills and experience and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope responsibility and competitive market value.
