Finance Staff Specialist II

Overview: The Finance Staff Specialist II performs professional accounting administrative and HR support tasks within the Countys Finance Department. The Finance Staff Specialist II assists with the Countys payroll functions and day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable for public safety and other departments as necessary.

The position works closely with the Finance Director County departments public safety personnel vendors and other County employees to ensure financial transactions are processed accurately timely and in accordance with established County policies procedures and applicable state and federal requirements.

Work is performed under the general supervision of the Finance Director with assignments involving established procedures independent judgment attention to detail confidentiality and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
