Who we are looking for

Were seeking a Finance Operations Manager who is energized by the intersection of finance and operationssomeone who sees financial management as a tool for driving business performance not just recording it. You will partner closely with our operations engineering and supply chain teams to support decision-making through insightful analysis reliable reporting and forward-looking planning. Leading our accounting operations and directly supervising our Staff Accountant youll ensure we have the financial infrastructure and discipline to support Oribis growth while maintaining the agility of a nimble innovative manufacturer. The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years of hands-on finance experience a strong operational mindset and the desire to build both technical expertise and leadership capabilities in a dynamic mission-driven environment.

What you get to do

  • Lead the monthly financial close process and deliver accurate timely reporting that keeps leadership informed and empowered to act quickly
  • Partner directly with the General Manager and operations leadership to translate financial performance into actionable business insights
  • Develop annual budgets and quarterly forecasts that align with strategic goals and support data-driven decision-making
  • Build and track operational KPIs and input metrics that drive continuous improvement and long-term value creation
  • Mentor and develop the Staff Accountant providing coaching feedback and opportunities for professional growth
  • Transform financial data into clear compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences across the organization
  • Collaborate with operations engineering supply chain and quality teams to support new product launches customer programs and business development opportunities
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls identifying opportunities for automation standardization and efficiency gains
  • Serve as the financial liaison between Oribi and Re:Build Manufacturing corporate finance ensuring seamless reporting and policy alignment
  • Support business development efforts with cost modeling pricing analysis and financial feasibility assessments for advanced composite component opportunities
  • Champion a culture of transparency continuous improvement and financial literacy across the organization

What you bring to the team A Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration with 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial operations or management accounting including exposure to manufacturing cost accounting operational metrics and cross-functional collaboration. Youre equally comfortable building a forecast closing the books and walking the production floor to understand how the business really works.

Additional information This role is office-based but requires a go to the gemba mindset. We expect you to regularly walk the production floor observe our manufacturing processes and build relationships with operators engineers and supervisors. The best financial insights come from understanding how continuous fiber-reinforced thermoplastic components are actually madenot just reviewing spreadsheets. Your willingness to get out of the office and into the operation will make you a more effective business partner.
