We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our growing hospice organization. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing key accounts payable accounting and financial operations ensuring accurate financial reporting maintaining compliance with healthcare and financial regulations and providing meaningful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise healthcare industry experience excellent analytical skills and a commitment to operational excellence.
Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
Conduct variance analyses and provide insights regarding operational and financial performance.
Participate in the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting.
Monitor budget performance and identify areas requiring corrective action.
Collaborate with department leaders to develop realistic and achievable financial plans.
-Compliance & Audit Support
Assist with internal and external audits including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
Maintain strong internal controls and support organizational risk management initiatives.
Requirements
-Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field required.
1-3 years of accounting experience.
Healthcare hospice home health or post-acute care industry experience preferred.
-Knowledge Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
