Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

-Accounts Payable Accounting & Financial Management

• Perform and oversee monthly bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations.
  
• Prepare and post journal entries including payroll accruals prepaid expenses fixed assets depreciation and amortization.
  
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure proper account classifications.
  
• Manage month-end close activities including accounts payable close and related reconciliations.
  
• Review and analyze monthly financial results and perform month-over-month variance analysis.
  

-Payroll & Workforce Reporting

• Oversee payroll accounting processes and ensure accurate payroll postings.
  
• Post payroll-related accruals and reconciliations.
  
• Develop and maintain payroll KPI reporting and workforce analytics.
  
• Partner with Human Resources and Payroll teams to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance.
  

-Financial Reporting & Analysis Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
  
• Conduct variance analyses and provide insights regarding operational and financial performance.
  

• Participate in the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasting.
  
• Monitor budget performance and identify areas requiring corrective action.
  
• Collaborate with department leaders to develop realistic and achievable financial plans.
  

-Compliance & Audit Support

• Assist with internal and external audits including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
  
• Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare regulations accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
  
• Maintain strong internal controls and support organizational risk management initiatives.
  

-Education & Experience

• Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field required.
  
• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
  
• Healthcare hospice home health or post-acute care industry experience preferred.
  

-Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
