Your Impact

As a Finance Intern at Lowes youll gain hands-on experience supporting financial decisions that influence the success of a FORTUNE 100 retailer. Working alongside experienced finance professionals youll help analyze business performance track financial metrics and support forecasting and budgeting efforts. This internship is a launchpad for students who want to understand how finance powers enterprise-level decisions and contributes to organizational growth. Summer Internship Program

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 24thJuly 30th) immerses you in real-world retail operations. Youll work directly with industry experts across our stores distribution centers and corporate offices gaining practical experience through hands-on projects that make meaningful contributions to our business and communities.

What You Will Learn

• Build core communication skills for working cross-functionally across other Lowes business units such as merchandising supply chain technology and other teams.
• How to interpret financial statements and key performance metrics including variance analysis and forecasting.
• Interact with Lowes executive leadership and gain exposure to key success factors.
• How to track performance across business units using reporting and dashboard tools.
• How finance departments support strategic business initiatives and priorities.
• Exposure to financial systems (such as Oracle) and industry leading tools for analysis and modeling.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in finance accounting business or related field.
• Expected graduation dates of December 2027 or May 2028.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (specifically in Power Point Excel and data analysis tools).
• Strong interpersonal collaboration problem solving analytical organizational and communication skills.
• Relevant internship and/or experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
• Experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization.
