How youll contribute
A Finance Director who excels in this role:

• Oversees all financial operations for two inpatient rehabilitation hospitals including budget planning financial reporting audit management and initiatives that drive departmental efficiency and support organizational goals.
• Oversees all financial functions including budgeting forecasting accounts receivable month-end close and financial reporting.
• Develops and implements departmental goals plans and standards that align with legal ethical clinical and administrative requirements.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations including patient care support services IT systems service levels and complaint resolution.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring orientation performance evaluations disciplinary actions and continuing education.
• Prepares monitors and evaluates departmental budgets to ensure compliance with financial objectives.
• Coordinates and leads internal and external audits.
• Creates and fosters a professional environment that supports employee engagement growth and development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for

Education:

• Bachelors degree in a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.

Skills:

• Requires strong leadership in healthcare financial management staffing and compliance.
• Must be able to influence negotiate and communicate across departments and leadership levels.
• Business Mathematics: Proficient in calculations involving fractions percentages rates and interpreting graphs.
• Computer Skills: Moderate proficiency in email spreadsheets word processing and business software.
• Communication: Capable of handling complex communication and interacting with senior leadership.
• Problem Solving: Able to assess and solve varied and complex business challenges using precedent and judgment.
