The Finance Associate - Small Engine Portfolio position specific responsibilities include providing key insights forecasting planning and analysis to drive profitable growth and informed decision-making.
This Finance Associate - Small Engine Portfolio position role serves as a direct business partner to Sales Product Marketing and Operations teams providing timely and actionable financial analysis related to sales performance customer behavior pricing strategies and product profitability. The Finance Associate - Small Engine Portfolio position will play a critical role in monitoring business performance through monthly sales and order projections validating assumptions and identifying risks and opportunities to improve outcomes
Location: 200 Twin Oaks Road Kohler WI 53044
Work mode: Hybrid 2-3 days on site

Responsibilities:
Provide the focused finance capacity needed to convert orders backlog customer demand signals and product profitability into actionable insights for Sales Product Marketing Operations and Finance leadership
Lead monthly sales orders and backlog reporting for National & Government Accounts Telecom Industrial Distribution and Marine within the
Develop and validate monthly projections by customer channel and product family to improve forecast reliability and leadership visibility
Analyze order trends backlog movement customer demand signals and portfolio mix to identify risks opportunities and execution gaps
Own recurring performance reporting and commentary that explains key drivers of sales orders margin and customer behavior
Prepare variance analysis comparing actual results to forecast with a target of 95% forecast accuracy and clear explanation of key business drivers
Perform product customer and channel profitability analysis to support pricing decisions portfolio strategy and margin improvement actions
Partner with Product Marketing and Sales to evaluate pricing opportunities customer profitability volume assumptions and commercial tradeoffs
Work with Operations and Finance partners to understand cost drivers margin impacts and opportunities to improve profitability
Support global
Maintain reporting tools and dashboards that improve visibility to sales orders backlog margin and demand trends
Provide financial support New Product activity including cost reduction tracking savings validation and launch timeline visibility
Translate financial results into clear actions owners and follow-up items that help the business respond quickly to changing demand and margin pressures
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting required
2 to 4 years of relevant Finance or Accounting experience
Advanced Excel and ERP experience preferred
Strong communication and business partnership skills
Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting a manufacturing industrial power generation energy equipment or other product-based business
Experience working with B2B sales channels including National Accounts Government Accounts Telecom Industrial Distribution Marine or similar customer segments
Experience supporting products with complex portfolios multiple channels customer segments or regional markets
Experience with SAP
Experience working with large complex datasets and translating data into actionable executive-level insights
Experience establishing or improving financial reporting processes dashboards and analytical tools
