Job Summary
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Remote File/Document Capture Assistant to support the digital processing and organization of company documents. The successful candidate will capture scan upload index organize and verify electronic files while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Capture and digitize documents using approved systems and software.
- Upload documents to electronic databases and document-management systems.
- Rename categorize and organize digital files according to established procedures.
- Review scanned and uploaded documents for quality and completeness.
- Enter document information and indexing data accurately.
- Locate and retrieve electronic records when requested.
- Identify duplicate incomplete or incorrectly filed documents.
- Maintain organized digital folders and records.
- Follow document-retention and confidentiality procedures.
- Perform routine data-entry and clerical tasks.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding missing or unclear documentation.
- Meet daily productivity accuracy and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous document management data entry records or clerical experience preferred.
- Basic computer and file-management skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to learn document-management and scanning software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Reliable internet connection and suitable home workspace.

Required Skills:
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data identify trends and support decision-making. Candidates should possess Business Analysis and Business Requirements skills to gather document and translate client needs into clear actionable specifications. Candidates should possess Business Process skills to map assess and optimize workflows especially in sales and operations environments. Candidates should possess Communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders lead discussions and present findings in a clear concise manner. Experience working with small or growing businesses especially in consulting or professional services is beneficial. Proficiency with common business productivity tools and data analysis software is preferred. Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or a related field or equivalent practical experience. Ability to work on-site in Charlotte NC and manage multiple projects with attention to detail and outcomes.
