Job Summary
Position Overview
The File Maintenance Supervisor (FMC Supervisor) is responsible for ensuring all pricing signage and product information throughout the store is accurate compliant and up to date. This role leads file maintenance operations supports store execution and ensures alignment between scanned prices shelf tags and promotional activities to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Oversee all pricing changes including weekly ad updates price batches and resets
- Ensure accurate price integrity between POS shelf tags and signage
- Execute and verify completion of price changes in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance with company and regulatory pricing standards
- Ensure all signs tags and promotional materials are accurate visible and properly placed
- Support ad execution display signs and promotional pricing initiatives
- Remove outdated or incorrect signage promptly
- Maintain clean organized and professional store appearance
- Maintain integrity of store item files UPCs and product data
- Troubleshoot pricing discrepancies and POS issues
- Partner with store leadership and corporate support teams to resolve file errors
- Ensure proper setup of new items and discontinued item removal
- Supervise and train File Maintenance Clerks or associates
- Delegate workload and ensure timely completion of all file maintenance tasks
- Provide coaching to ensure accuracy efficiency and compliance
- Foster accountability and attention to detail within the team
- Ensure store is audit-ready at all times for pricing accuracy inspections
- Monitor compliance with weights & measures regulations
- Conduct routine checks for pricing consistency across departments
- Maintain required documentation and logs for audits
- Previous file maintenance pricing or retail operations experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Comfortable working with systems POS and data entry
- Organizational and time management skills
- Leadership and communication abilities
- Frequent walking throughout the store and backroom
- Extended periods standing and performing detailed work
- Flexible schedule including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- Pricing accuracy and scan compliance rates
- Timeliness of price changes and ad execution
- Audit results and regulatory compliance
