Role: Field Support Engineer Radar Systems

Location: Rockford Illinois

Job Description & Skill Requirement

5 12 years of experience in radar systems or field service engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation of PSR/SSR/Mode-S/ADS-B systems antenna alignment RF integration and infrastructure coordination.
Testing & Verification: Execute FAT/SAT conduct subsystem and system-level validation and verify performance metrics such as detection accuracy and latency.
Calibration & Tuning: Perform RF calibration transmitter/receiver tuning antenna alignment and optimize performance based on environmental conditions.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance perform fault isolation and ensure system uptime.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain logs test reports and calibration records and ensure compliance with FAA and OSHA standards.
Stakeholder Coordination: Interface with FAA airport authorities and OEM teams; support audits and training.

Technical Skills:

Radar & RF Systems: PSR SSR Mode-S ADS-B RF propagation Doppler processing
Test Equipment: Spectrum analyzers network analyzers power meters oscilloscopes
System Integration: ATC systems integration communication protocols (TCP/IP serial)
Electrical Systems: Power distribution grounding lightning protection
