As a Field Specialist II you are supporting field operations by providing on-site technical service and ensuring customer requirements are met safely and efficiently. You are managing assigned jobs coordinating with customers and third-party service providers maintaining field equipment readiness and following established company procedures. You are serving as a key representative of Baker Hughes while delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

As a Field Specialist II youareresponsible for:

  • Managing assigned jobs and ensuring arrival at customer locations at least 30 minutes prior to the scheduled service time.

  • Identifying customer locations and preparing appropriately for field assignments.

  • Working effectively with customers and third-party personnel while on-site.

  • Supporting field operations in locations that may require overnight travel and stays near customer sites.

  • Working safely with electrical systems and equipment up to 5000 volts.

  • Maintaining truck inventory and ensuring required materials tools and equipment are available for service activities.

  • Following company processes procedures and safety requirements at all times.

  • Supporting successful job execution while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Communicating effectively with customers supervisors and internal teams regarding job status and operational needs.

  • Ensuring compliance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environment (HSE) standards.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • Have experience working in field operations electrical service maintenance industrial service or a related technical environment.

  • Have experience interacting directly with customers and supporting field-based operations.

  • Have the ability to safely work with electrical systems and equipment.

  • Have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Have the ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Have the willingness to travel and stay away from home when required to support customer service needs.

  • Have a strong commitment to safety quality and customer service.

This position requires current work authorization in the country of employment. The employer is unable to provide or continue work authorization sponsorship for this role.

You will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k). Coverage options and contribution amounts are related to your benefit elections base salary level and specific requirements of each of these plans.
