Field Service Technician
Job Summary
- Installing and base-lining/debugging new CNC equipment systems
- Training new customers and operators on equipment operation and procedures
- Maintaining repairing and troubleshooting existing equipment systems
- Performing data analysis to assess machinery performance
- Documenting machine safety maintenance and operational reports
- Reading and interpreting layout electrical pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams/schematics
- Collaborating with engineers service managers and customers
- Providing accurate and thorough reporting on project progress and completion
- Mechanical systems installation experience is a plus!

- Non-Local Employees: 90% travel required
- Local Murrieta CA Employees: 70% travel with partial time at our Murrieta CA location.
- Regular travel within assigned U.S. territories (1-2 weeks on-site home on weekends when possible)
- Some projects may require extended time on-site
- Strong hands-on experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (layout/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience in machine installations training and service for CNC machine tools
- Excellent communication and reporting skills
- Self-motivated with strong customer-service orientation
- Ability to problem solve methodically and provide logical solutions.
- Must live within one hour of a major U.S. airport
- Above industry average tiered-pay structure: $52000/yr - $80000/yr

Required Skills:
Foundation of engineering technical knowledge such as a degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) (preferred but not required) Strong hands-on experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams (layout/electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Experience in machine installations training and service for CNC machine tools Excellent communication and reporting skills Self-motivated with strong customer-service orientation Ability to methodically problem solve and provide logical solutions.
