A Cleveland Ohio-area manufacture is hiring an Experienced Field Service Technician responsible for the independent inspection installation troubleshooting and repair of commercial industrial and municipal pump systems electric motors and controls across the greater Cleveland area.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair centrifugal vertical turbine submersible HVAC mixer prop and sewage ejector pumps.
- Diagnose single/three-phase electrical systems (capacitors start relays) and program/modify variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Repair pressure-reducing valves and complete full piping and system layouts.
- Perform scheduled inspections and recommend system replacements or calibrations.
- Supervise on-site workflows project timelines and field crews.
- Mentor and train junior technicians and helpers to improve overall field competency.
- Write detailed diagnostic reports for customers and estimating teams.
- Strictly adhere to electrical safety rules and Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotating schedule for emergency services.
- Maintain company truck safety gear specialized tools and inventory.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in plumbing and electrical backgrounds.
- Valid Drivers License (Required).
- High School Diploma GED or Trade School Diploma.
- Ability to regularly lift 25 pounds frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
- Proven ability to work independently without direct supervision and manage client relationships professionally.
