The pay range for this position is $38.00 to $51.00

Starting wage is dependent on skills experience education and location. Pay range may vary by 10% depending upon the applicants location. Along with competitive pay full time positions are benefits eligible which includes:

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair compact construction equipment including track loaders wheel loaders mini excavators aerial lifts tele-handlers among other light to medium duty equipment
• Responds to customer needs in a positive supportive and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed in the field; a company truck phone and computer are provided
• Using independent judgment assumes responsibility for the safe maintenance and repair on a variety of equipment which involve mechanical hydraulic gas diesel and electrical systems
• Maintains a clean and safe work area adheres to all safety procedures; maintains a service vehicle in a clean and professional manner
• Positively interacts with manager and team members to satisfy customer needs
• Provides assistance to other technicians as needed in regard to troubleshooting repairs
• Utilize modern communication methods both internal and external to ensure job status is conveyed in a timely manner and the customers needs are being exceeded
• Documents labor parts used and description of work performed assuring that work orders can be closed and billed as communicated with the customer
• Willing to respond to after hour emergency calls as directed by supervisor
• Identifies and communicates the need for parts for inventory
• Performs other duties as assigned/required

Qualifications:

• 2-year technical degree or high school diploma and several years of comparable experience
• 2 years of relevantdiesel equipment repair experience preferably in the field
• Knowledge of hydraulics transmissions track systems components electrical and fuel systems
• Possesses the ability to diagnose equipment without supervision; is also able to understand and communicate schematics
• Desire to provide exceptional customer service with a strong attention to detail
• Must be an excellent problem solver who possesses modern communication and computer skills
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Willing and able to respond to emergency after-hour calls as directed by supervisor
• Must operate equipment safely
• Own mechanic tool set
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record
• Obtain a DOT medical certification card
• Pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen & physical
• This role is deemed safety-sensitive and will be subject to a drug test as a pre-employment requirement
