• Installandassemblecompressorandturbinepackagecomponentsatfactoryorcustomersites.
• Superviseorperforminstallationandstartupofequipmentatcustomersiteaccordingtointernalchecklistsandprocesses.
• Rebuildandchangecomponentsofacorecompressorandcoreturbinealongwithservicingthemachines.
• Performroutinemaintenanceservicestocompressorsandturbinesaccordingtointernalprocedureswhichincludetheremovaland installationofenclosuresandductwork.
• Troubleshoot and perform/support root cause analysis on major rotating equipment.
• Installelectricalcomponentsincontrolpanels.
• PerformminoradjustmentstoPLCandHMIsoftwareasneeded.
• WriteandcompileservicereportsincludingbutnotlimitedtochecklistsdailylogsandpicturesforProjectManagement.
• PerformworkfollowingHowden-TurblexEHSguidelines.
• Coordinatewithplant/sitesmaintenancesuperintendentsfortoolsandnecessarysupportneededtoperformservices.
• Supportclaimmanagementprocessasneeded.

Complexity and creativity

• Sole representative on site for Howden to our customers.

Travel

• Up to 80% travel to locations mostly in North America; with possibility of international travel

• Abilitytoreadandunderstanddrawingsandelectricalschematics.
• Knowledge of rotational equipment in order to do shaft alignment use of laser equipment balancing techniques and process application and use of disk flexible couplings electrical motors used as pumps or main drivers.
• Knowledgeofinternalturbocompressorcomponentsinordertodisassemblechangecomponentsandre-assemble is a plus.
• Electricalpanelknowledge.
• AllenBradleySiemensModiconPLCandHMIbasicprogrammingisa plus.
• Abilitytouseapowermeter.
• Abilitytolearnandtoparticipateincontinuouseducationforturbocompressorsandturbines.
• Ability to work with interdisciplinary groups (Project Management Engineering Sales) to align in the solutions and communications offered to customers.
