Position Summary:
Cherokee Preting is seeking a Field Service Representative in support of a DoD contract providing technical equipment advisory and support for SOCOM efforts. Responsibilities include assisting with various tasks like equipment installation system configuration and maintenance. You should also be able to troubleshoot systems identify problems and write reports.

Essential Functions Duties & Responsibilities:
Includes the following:
Mentor and advice senior military personnel on various equipment technical capabilities and employment Techniques Tactics and Procedures (TTPs) for utilizing HF-TTL equipment.
Assist in the development and implementation of Concepts of Operations (CONOPs) for employing HF-TTL devices based on equipment capabilities and other critical factors.
Provide technical expertise and support in testing and installing audio and video server applications.
Coordination with headquarters for specialized program support.
Provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new equipment and integration efforts.
Conduct research and develop best practices.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No supervisory/management authority
Basic Qualifications:
Retired or former Special Operations soldier 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity.
Recent combat experience.
Experience with or technical information collection equipment to support War on Terrorism objectives.
Experience with web-based applications including but not limited to: Microsoft Office Microsoft Windows and various viewing software programs such as: FalconView Google Earth C2PC Streets and Trips and Map Printability.
Must be able to travel independently and operate for periods of time without supervision.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues including account setup and network configuration.
Good understanding of computer systems mobile devices and other technical products.
Software installation experience
Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution.
Must be able to carry a 35-pound load with no assistance.
CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements to support Unit.
Requires travel overseas.
Must be a US Citizen.
This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent leadership skills and the ability to effectively interact and communicate with management customers and employees.
Work Environment:
Work is performed primarily in a climate-controlled environment.
