Field Service Mechanical Technician

The Group has 92 operating units (55 of which with production facilities) in 31 countries a turnover in 2013 of approx. 1400 million Euro and over 6000 employees.General Responsibility: to perform field service for major tobacco with a working knowledge of all -up of machines in customer of customer personnel to properly operate and maintain to customers when there is a of contracted or periodic maintenance of of a working knowledge of all assigned equipment in the check-out demonstrations at G.D USA prior to machine Responsibilities: machines in customer plants and provides service information by customer in ordering replacement parts and sees that they are ordered customer personnel to properly operate and maintain service reports expense reports daily time sheets in contact with customers to maintain their confidence in equipment and customers calling on phone for technical arrangements for travel requirements. Extensive travel other duties as assigned by Service Manager or as circumstances require such as: train new service equipment changes to the customer service and engineering departments in the engineering with start-up operation and modification of experimental Parts Department in determining part numbers where part numbers are unknown to the written reports upon installation of new customer accidents to G.D USA and informs customer management of any unsafe procedures while in their classroom customer training sessions both at G.D USA and at customer international service duties as assigned.2-5 years of technical training in mechanical and electrical technology or equivalent experience.A working knowledge of packaging equipment electrical and mechanical devices and the control systems used for the written and verbal communication skills.Coesia North America offers a competitive benefit package which includes among other things:Hourly Rate Range:$22.90- $30.53 an hour Multiple health insurance plan options.
