How youll make an impact

• Perform complex field service operations with strong technical skills.

• Deliver outstanding services remotely or on-site including installation maintenance and repairs.

• Exceed customer expectations by understanding and anticipating their needs.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures and proactively prevent issues.

• Identify and resolve electrical or mechanical problems with minimal assistance.

• Develop potential sales and business opportunities through customer knowledge.

• Suggest product and process improvements to enhance operations.

• Lead field service projects and provide direction and analysis.

Your background

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitudes.

• Trade education and experience in Industrial Mechanic and Electrical trades.

• College or university diploma/degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical engineering) is an asset.

• Over 5 years of experience in technical field service work with power/mechanical equipment.

• Hands-on experience with substation construction high voltage equipment and electrical testing.

• Proficient in MS Word Excel Outlook SharePoint and test equipment software.

• Current drivers license valid in the US and ability to work in the US.

• Ability to travel to the US Canada and Mexico.

• Collaborative solutions-oriented approach with strong communication skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
