Field Project Manager- Building Science

Job Summary
The Field Project Manager will collaborate with field staff project managers and senior leadership throughout the entire project lifecyclefrom proposal development and project coordination through invoicing and warranty periods. This role will help ensure projects are delivered successfully efficiently and to the highest standards in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for building enclosure consulting observation and testing on new construction and forensic investigation projects.
Work with the Building Science team Project Owners and General Contractors to manage and coordinate routine to complex projects with guidance including project scope schedule budget and safety.
Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify investigate and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.
Work independently on specific assignments with senior review.
Prepare reports providing professional opinions and practical solutions along with other professional documents under the review of senior staff.
Work with architects engineers consultants other project managers and field staff to ensure project documents are followed and overall project goals are met.
Work closely with the project team and senior staff to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
Assist senior management and other leadership in developing business goals and objectives.
Support client relationships to effectively achieve market sector goals and strategies.
Perform reviews and mentor staff for career development.
Collect and communicate business intelligence collected during the performance of our services with other members of the consulting team.
Coordinate and communicate with other members of the consulting group on project progress and issues that arise. This individual has ultimate ownership of technical success for the field aspects of the project.
Assist in the development of project management policy and procedure and setting direction with other members of the consulting team.

Minimum Experience and Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Bachelors degree (BS) in construction management or related discipline preferred.
Require a minimum of 5 years experience in construction project management
Understands general construction and related documents specifications and plans and contract administration.
Previous experience with large scale construction projects

Compensation Range:
