Join us as aField Engineer Intern for our Hawaiidistrict within our US Buildings sector for 3 or 4 months starting from May 2027. Depending on your assigned project as a Field Engineer Intern you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
- Maintaining project document controls and procedures.
- Assisting with updating drawings and specifications.
- Assisting with inventorying and warehousing of materials and equipment as well as expediting material orders.
- Preparing quantity takeoffs as directed.
- Assisting with third-party inspections and site reviews.
- Assisting in tracking time materials and equipment.
- Liaising with subcontractors field crews engineers and consultants on field details.
- Other duties as required.
- Work may be performed in a corporate office setting or in a jobsite office/field setting on an active construction site with frequent walking of project site.
- There may be exposure to inclement weather conditions various construction equipment excessive noise dust dangerous substances and excessive heights.
- Seeking a bachelors degree or associates degree in engineering construction management architecture or related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry after graduation.
- Ability to learn understand and/or apply basic construction principles to problem solve.
- Clear verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and subcontractors.
- Employment with PCL is contingent upon passing a substance abuse test conducted by a third party.

The estimated pay range for this role isbetween $28 and $33 per hourbased on your experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be confirmed as part of a personalized offer.
