Fence Installation Technician

Location: Milwaukee WI 53221
Pay: $20$27 per hour based on experience

Bear Staffing is seeking a Setup Technician II Fencing / Perimeter Solutions for a direct-hire opportunity with a leading provider of temporary fencing and site security solutions.

In this hands-on role you will install and remove fencing barricades and related products at customer locations. The ideal candidate enjoys physical outdoor work works well with a team and takes pride in completing projects safely and efficiently.

Fencing experience is preferred. Training is provided.

The selected candidate will be hired directly by our client.

• Install and remove temporary fencing barricades and related products according to project specifications.

• Prepare jobsites and use hand and power tools to complete installations.

• Load unload and move fence panels equipment and materials.

• Drive a non-CDL company commercial vehicle to deliver products to customer locations.

• Complete truck inventory logs site checklists and other operational paperwork.

• Communicate professionally with customers coworkers and jobsite personnel.

• Maintain clean organized work areas and company vehicles.

• Follow company safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.

Required:

• High school education.

• Valid drivers license and ability to drive a non-CDL company commercial vehicle.

• Driving record that meets company requirements including motor vehicle record (MVR) screening.

• Dependable transportation.

• Ability to handle and lift fence panels weighing approximately 5080 pounds.

• Ability to perform physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Familiarity with hand and power tools.

• Ability to follow directions work with a team and meet project deadlines.

• Basic technology skills to enter updates and complete documentation.

Preferred:

• Previous fencing installation experience.

• Construction carpentry or outdoor labor experience.

• Experience operating forklifts or one-ton trucks.

• Basic welding experience or willingness to learn.
