Position Overview

As federal food program subsidy manager you will oversee the administration financial reimbursement and regulatory compliance of the Child Care Food Program (CACFP).

You will manage budgets audit claims ensure federal nutrition standards are met and coordinate reporting with agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Regulation: Ensure all meal services and operational procedures match strict federal state and local guidelines.

Subsidy & Financial Management: Manage program budgets track funding allocations and oversee the processing of accurate reimbursement claims.

Auditing & Reporting: Conduct internal audits verify eligibility documentation and submit periodic progress or financial reports to federal and state authorities. Coordinate and Participate in all CACFP audits.

Staff Training & Support: Train site staff on policy updates proper documentation and nutritional requirements.

Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary liaison between the organization and federal oversight bodies (such as the USDA).

Education & Experience

Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelors degree in public administration business nutrition social work or a related field.

Experience: 3 to 7 years of program management experience specifically working with government grants. (CACFP).

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in financial tracking database management and regulatory analysis

Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills to draft policy clarifications train teams and interface with government officials.
