Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services including the diagnosis treatment and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care.
- Review laboratory results imaging studies referrals and other diagnostic information.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Collaborate with nurse practitioners physician assistants and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Supervise and provide clinical guidance to advanced practice providers as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review activities.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and community resources when appropriate.
- Participate in a shared on-call rotation and occasional phone triage coverage.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
- Active California Medical License or ability to obtain one.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
- Strong commitment to preventive care chronic disease management and patient education.
- Experience working in outpatient primary care settings preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
