Location: Pottstown PA This is an on-site opportunity in a professional local office setting offering the chance to work closely with clients and colleagues while becoming an active part of the community.

Note: An active Pennsylvania Bar license and at least 1 year of directly relevant family law experience are required.

Job Description

• Represent clients in family law matters providing thoughtful legal guidance from initial consultation through resolution.
• Manage a caseload involving matters such as divorce custody support equitable distribution and other domestic relations issues.
• Conduct legal research and analyze statutes regulations and case law relevant to active matters.
• Draft pleadings motions agreements correspondence discovery and other legal documents.
• Prepare cases for hearings conferences mediation negotiation and litigation.
• Advocate for clients while pursuing practical and cost-effective resolutions.
• Communicate directly with clients to explain legal options case strategy developments and next steps.
• Collaborate with attorneys and staff to keep matters organized responsive and moving forward.
• Maintain strong attention to deadlines court requirements documentation and case details.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing.
• 1 year of family law experience.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research writing negotiation and client communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters deadlines and priorities independently.
• Professional judgment attention to detail and a client-focused approach.
• Courtroom hearing mediation or negotiation experience is a plus.
