Location: Leesburg VA or Manassas VA Hybrid. Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid schedule while collaborating with our Northern Virginia legal team and representing clients throughout the surrounding communities.

Note: Candidates must have an active Virginia Bar license and at least 1 year of family law experience. We are seeking an attorney who is comfortable handling family law matters and eager to grow their litigation and client advocacy skills.

Job Description

• Manage family law cases involving divorce child custody child support equitable distribution and related matters.
• Represent clients in court hearings mediations negotiations and other legal proceedings.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery responses settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Develop effective case strategies and guide clients through each stage of the legal process.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive legal arguments.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication compassion and responsive representation.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia Bar license required.
• 1 years of family law experience required.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Experience handling divorce custody support or other family law matters.
• Strong legal research writing negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating with a supportive legal team.
• Courtroom and litigation experience preferred.
