POSITION(S): Formative Assessment for MI Educators (FAME) Team Coaches

DESCRIPTION: Lead a FAME team helping others in your building to learn about implement and reflect on the formative assessment process together!

SEEKING: One teacher leader (or a split between 2 teachers) per building

POSITION TERM DESIRED: A 3-year commitment is ideal as three years of free training by FAME is included DATES: 2026- 2029 school years

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Any classroom teacher or instructional coach who is interested in leading a team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Interest and enthusiasm to learn alongside and collaborate with other teachers

2) Interest and enthusiasm to grow as a teacher/coach in best assessment practices

3) Interest and enthusiasm to invest in the growth of other Panther staff members

4) Three-year commitment to be a FAME team member

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Meeting times will be agreed upon by the FAME team

2) Plan all FAME meetings (support available)

3) Willingness to incorporate learning into the classroom

3) Consider joining the Assessment PIT Crew

4) Willingness to share out learning with others

5) Willingness to participate in FAME professional training opportunities including Adaptive Schools training and Cognitive Coaching training (no more than 4 school days/year with subs provided)

Rate of Pay: $750/building
