Job Summary

A General Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties at a hauling company transfer station materials recycling facility (MRF) or landfill. Responsibilities may include such things as yard clean-up fueling vehicles and equipment general vehicle operation general office maintenance and other related duties.

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facility Cleaner to join our team in maintaining a clean safe and healthy office environment. This full-time position requires 40 hours per week and offers year-round stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean sanitize and maintain office spaces restrooms breakrooms corridors and common areas.

  • Perform routine tasks including dusting vacuuming sweeping mopping trash removal and window cleaning.

  • Restock paper products hand sanitizer soap and other routine office supplies.

  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is safely operated properly maintained and stored correctly.

  • Follow all company safety procedures and standards regarding hazardous materials and chemical handling.

  • Report facilities issues maintenance needs or safety hazards to management promptly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Previous commercial or office cleaning experience preferred but training is available.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role including standing bending lifting up to 50 lbs and moving continuously throughout the shift.
