Facilities Technician

Job title: Facility Technician/HVAC

Duration: 12 months (Possible extension)

Location: Palm Bay FL

Pay range: $35-$38/hr on W2

Job Description:

This Facilities Tech D will provide support as a skilled technician (replacement). Requires 10-20 years HVAC experience requires basic mastery of HVAC elements. This Tech D will coordinate work of contractors and interface with customers to accommodate all program requirements. You must have a valid drivers license and be able to travel to all 5 sites in Brevard. Will be on call for Program critical equipment issues. Business work orders are completed within 5 days sometimes within the hour.

Support HVAC requests for repairs/replacement of 3.5M SF in 76 buildings spread across 5 locations in Brevard. Basic computer skills

• Use tracking software to ensure components are accurately installed tracked etc.
• Interface with all levels of the organization to report on HVAC issues/repairs/replacements.
• 6-8 years experience in HVAC certified Refrigerant Mechanic.
• Role is customer focused; metric driven and has an expectation of timely completion and close out of Work Orders.
• Will work in a diverse and changing environment supporting many internal and external customers simultaneously.
• Valid drivers License.
• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills.
• Microsoft Suite basic skills.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC elements and building layouts
