The Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall functionality safety and cleanliness of the facility. This role ensures that all building systems operate efficiently and that a safe professional working environment is maintained for employees.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance & Inspections

Perform routine daily inspections of HVAC electrical mechanical plumbing and fire protection systems.

Inspect and maintain lighting bathroom fixtures faucets toilets sinks and related equipment.

Clean or replace air filters lubricate machinery and service all facility components as needed.

Repairs & Upkeep

Perform general maintenance tasks including painting drywall repairs and both interior and exterior upkeep.

Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs across building systems.

Housekeeping & Safety

Maintain a safe and clean work environment by supporting housekeeping efforts including trash disposal and cardboard removal.

Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and workplace standards.

Successfully complete all required safety training and testing.

Grounds Maintenance

Maintain exterior areas including removal of trash weeds and tree limbs.

Address pest concerns such as wasp nests and ants.

Systems Familiarity & Emergency Support

Develop and maintain working knowledge of the fire alarm panel and sprinkler system.

Be available for emergency call-in support on a 24/7 basis as needed.

Work Environment & Expectations

Ability to work in varying conditions including heat cold and confined spaces.

Flexibility to work overtime weekends and holidays as required.

Maintain punctual attendance and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.

Demonstrate professionalism and collaborate effectively with all departments.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous maintenance or facilities experience
