Facilities Technician Maintenance Full Time Eventide Lincoln

Eventide Lincoln in Lincoln NE is seeking a Facilities Technician to work full time 40 hours/week with an on call rotation.

Essential Functions

1. Provides daily routine maintenance such as; furniture moving minor plumbing repairs minor electrical repairs and furniture repairs.
2. Installs and repairs floor tile coverings base boards ceiling tile drywall and PVC wall coverings.
3. Installs repairs and maintains facility equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
4. Performs preventative maintenance on kitchen and laundry equipment.
5. Removes snow from walks driveways and parking areas using snow removal equipment.
6. Performs painting duties as assigned by supervisor.
7. Performs lawn care and landscaping as needed.
8. Assists with transportation services as needed.

Ideal Candidate

• COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak read write and understand the English language including instructions and labels.
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job while utilizing standard and specialized equipment. Vision within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 75 - pounds demonstrating strength and agility at Eventides discretion.
• AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 18.
• EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• EXPERIENCE: One year of experience in two out of six of the following strongly preferred: electrical plumbing carpentry floor repair furniture repairs heating/air conditioning repair. Plumbing experience is a plus.
• CREDENTIALS: Valid Nebraska Drivers license (unless otherwise allowed by law) and a good driving record required.

Compensation
At Eventide we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $19-21.28 per hour for Facilities Technicians based on qualifications experience and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available for select positions paid on employment status and shift worked.
