Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 4 months (with potential for extension)
  • Pay Rate: $21.00$22.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (flexible)

Job Summary

As a Facilities Specialist youll oversee team activities that coordinate with clients vendors and contractors to make sure work orders are complete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact and be a visible friendly face at the facility
  • Relay messages to the internal help desk; when a user opens a ticket with the help desk it gets assigned to this person (e.g. lightbulb is out in pantry desk has a chip in it key broke in the lock in desk drawer coffee machine is broken)
  • Address day-to-day facility issues such as stains on carpet and doors not closing properly
  • Enter tickets into the system to get issues resolved
  • Manage pantry supplies including ordering cutlery coffee and other items
  • Work hand in hand with a seasoned Facilities Manager
Required Skills
  • Friendly and customer-facing demeanor
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Basic computer skills: typing emails basic Excel and ability to learn a ticketing system
  • Good with basic math
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
Preferred Skills
  • Prior experience working in facilities
  • Experience with a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Administrative skills
Education Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred
Required Experience
  • 02 years of professional experience
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Smaller building environment
  • Overtime applicable
Important Notes
  • Background check required: CBRE standard background screen (no drug test); once CBRE check clears the client will run an additional background screen
  • Interview process: Virtual interview with a potential second step with the client
