Salary Range: Hourly from $26.12 to $37.91; Annually from $54539 to $79156

ABOUT THE POSITION
Provide budget and project analysis services in a professional manner within the Facilities Management division. The person in this role will assist in the planning and management of new construction renovations capital improvement bonding HEAPR requests and deferred maintenance by serving as a liaison between Normandale Community College the City of Bloomington and Minnesota State Board Office. Serve as the administrator and reconciliation officer within the eBuilder construction project software. Performs cost analysis for department budgets and goal planning.
This position plays a key role in advancing the colleges Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) goals by strengthening the graduation pipeline improving completion and transfer outcomes and supporting outreach initiatives for stopouts nearcompleters and adult learners. The role advances institutional goals related to student success equity and completion.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL: These qualifications are required to move forward; as such (ensure your application contains descriptions of your education and work experience sufficient to demonstrate competency in each of the following):
One (1) year of experience in facilities construction architecture or engineering; A Bachelors degree may substitute for one (1) year; an Associates degree may substitute for six (6) months of experience.
One (1) year of experience in a governmental/public setting.
Knowledge of construction/architectural/engineering terminology.
Experience working with teams on complex projects.
Good human relations skills and ability to interact cooperatively with others in a professional environment.
Proven computer experience analytical research and writing skills including database management.
Ability to collect and analyze a variety of information and data select relevant data and integrate this data into a meaningful response.
Understanding of data privacy laws.
Experience in accounting sufficient to perform fiscal and budget analysis reconciliation and cash flow analysis related to construction projects and budgets.
PREFERRED:
Professional accounting or budget education and/or experience.
Experience with construction and facilities operations in a higher education setting.
Experience in construction management software.
