Position Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on comfortable using power tools experienced with basic repairs and equipment maintenance and able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. This position plays a key role in supporting facility operations equipment upkeep and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment machinery and building systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Safely operate hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment.
• Assist with installation setup and relocation of machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
• Maintain facility appearance including minor repairs painting and general upkeep.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Support startup operations by assisting with equipment modifications process improvements and special projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in maintenance manufacturing warehouse industrial or startup facility environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Experience working in a startup facility or helping establish new processes and equipment is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical documents and maintenance instructions.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand walk bend kneel and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at varying heights when necessary.
