Facilities Maintenance Technician Handyman

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs
• Complete painting drywall carpentry and handyman projects
• Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs
• Assist with preventative maintenance including HVAC filter changes
• Repair doors locks fixtures ceiling tiles flooring and trim
• Maintain the grounds parking areas and exterior appearance
• Coordinate with outside contractors when needed
• Move furniture and assist with facility improvement projects
• Operate a passenger shuttle van as needed (training provided)
• Keep tools equipment and maintenance records organized

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid Texas drivers license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Experience safely using hand and power tools

• 3 years of facilities commercial building apartment hotel hospital or property maintenance
• Experience with:
  • Painting and drywall repair
  • Basic carpentry
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Basic electrical work (lights switches outlets)
  • Door and hardware repairs
  • Fixture and furniture installation
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Grounds maintenance and pressure washing
