Job Summary
Under general supervision maintains and mows turf and large lawn fields and performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: Evidence of successful recent experience in groundskeeping maintenance or general farm work including experience operating large power and motorized equipment. Ability to operate power sweeper truck tractor dump truck lawn mowers and edgers; repair and maintain garden tools; follow oral and written directions; work well with other people. Knowledge of groundskeeping; watering spading and lawn cutting procedures; mechanical aptitude. Graduation from high school or equivalent. A California Class A drivers license will be required within six months of employment. Must have a good driving record. Must be insurable under the Districts insurance program and must maintain insurability.
