JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible to provide welding and fabrication support for the Energy systems sales service rental and construction departments.
Essential Duties:
- Provide welding and fabrication support for Sales Service Rental and Construction Department
- Install vent extensions & spill boxes on generators
- Install DPF systems & load bank systems on generators
- Work with project management team to spec modification estimates
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Able to do heavy and light welding
- Able to do sheet metal fabrication
- Knowledge of fuel tank and enclosure modifications and part manufacturing
- Ability to do light design
- Proficient in Mig Tig or Stick
- Must have valid driver license
- Must be able to travel occasionally
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
2 years welding or fabrication in field work or shop work
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Welding or Fabricator Certified
Experience:
5 years experience in welding or fabrication in field work or shop work
